As we travel along our spiritual journey, it becomes increasingly clear that God acts strategically in our lives. With the Father, the concept of chance fades away to make way for a meticulously planned divine purpose for each and every one of us. Each individual is assigned a well-defined role, mission and place in this great chessboard of life. However, when we choose to go our own way, we risk disrupting God's carefully crafted plans for us.
We are Chosen from Our Mother's Womb:
One of the fundamental truths is that God chooses us from our mother's womb, affecting our destiny even before we are born. A biblical example of this is found in the book of Jeremiah (Jeremiah 1:5), where God says to the prophet Jeremiah, "Before I formed you in your mother's womb, I knew you, and before you came out of her womb, I had consecrated you, I had appointed you a prophet to the nations." This statement emphasizes that God had a specific plan for Jeremiah even before he was born.
Our responsibility for what the Father gives us:
If we are blessed with material wealth, for example, it's not by chance, but rather by divine choice. God has raised us in this position for a very specific mission: to help others and contribute to the well-being of society. The Good Housekeeping course, taught by EZ37M pastors Claudy and Corinne, echoes this idea. It reminds us that our wealth is a responsibility entrusted to us by God. As good stewards, we must use our resources to fulfill His will and help those in need.
Giving gives pleasure to ourselves and to others, and makes a difference:
When God endows us with special gifts, skills or abilities, it's not for our own personal glory or benefit. On the contrary, it's so that we can put them to work for others, make a positive difference in the lives of those around us, and thus actively participate in the fulfillment of God's plan.
The key concept here is learning to be selfless. This means breaking away from selfishness and individualism to embrace God's vision of working for the common good.By understanding that God works strategically in our lives, we can embrace our role and mission with a deep awareness of our responsibility to Him and to others by letting Him guide Our spiritual journey also involves recognizing that everything we have has been entrusted to us by God for a reason, and that our duty is to use it to contribute to the well-being of our community and the world as a whole, to be good stewards. From this perspective, being selfless becomes a way of life that honors divine strategy
